Tarrant County College Northeast Campus Senior Education

The Senior Education Program at TCC-NE had its start in 1972 with just one or two continuing education classes. Things like, How to Wrap Pretty Packages, Flower Arranging, and a swim class. Now the program on the NE campus has grown to more than 50 classes and 50 instructors and more than 500 students.
If you have the time, you can take as many of the classes on any or all of the campuses as you want for a flat $20 per semester. There are no books to buy, no tests, and no notes to take unless you want to. You just come to class, have fun, learn something new and make new friends. A variety of classes are offered in broad subjects such as *Basic and advanced computer skills *Smartphone applications *History and culture *Art classes including drawing, painting; and jewelry-making *Health/Fitness classes like water aerobics and lap swimming, pickleball, weight training, Tai Chi & Yoga, *Languages including Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, and American Sign Language, and more! *Fly fishing, Gardening, Out and About which is a very popular class as you visit different places in the DFW Metro area.
We are always looking for not only new students but also new instructors so if you have a favorite hobby or skill and you would like to share that with other people, we encourage you to contact us.
